NEW COVID-19 Update - April 13, 2020

We are OPEN and we are HERE for you!
As COVID-19 continues to progress, we are following the direction of public health officials to limit the effect that COVID-19 will have on our valued employees and customers.

BARRIE FACTORY STORE UPDATE:

  • Our store is CLOSED to walk-in customers.
  • Customers may place online or telephone orders for a safe curbside pickup of a selection of baked goods and other grocery items.
  • Curbside pickup is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
  • Masks are mandatory for all employees.
  • We have increased cleaning and sanitizing throughout the facility.
  • We support and encourage physical distancing by creating space between employees while working.
  • Anyone who is NOT a Don's Bakery employee is not permitted inside the facility.

BALA STORE UPDATE:

  • Our Bala store will re-open for the 2021 season on May 6.
  • All pre-orders will be curbside pickup ONLY (not picked up inside the store).
  • Orders may be placed online with 48 hours notice.
  • All employees and customers must wear a mask or face covering when inside the premises.
  • We will have hand sanitizer available for customers upon entry and throughout the store.
  • We encourage physical distancing and a limited number of customers in the store at once.
  • We support and encourage physical distancing by creating space between employees while working.

How You Can Help

  • If you are in isolation, quarantine or experiencing any flu-like symptoms, please DO NOT visit our store. Try to make alternate arrangements with friends or family and use our convenient curbside pick up option.
  • We require all customers to wear a mask/face covering when inside our store.
  • Please keep a safe distance from our staff and other customers when inside our store or when waiting outside.
  • We recommend sanitizing your hands upon entry and exit of our store.
  • Please be patient and kind to our staff. They are working hard for you!

Changes to our Production Facility Operations:

  • We have increased our cleaning and sanitization measures.
  • We support and encourage physical distancing by creating space between employees while working.
  • We are providing masks and gloves for employees.
  • We are taking the temperature of our staff before they begin to work.
  • We are not permitting anyone who is not a Don’s Bakery employee into our production areas.
